If you have normal to dry skin on your body, then moisturizing it and keeping it moisturized is of utmost importance during the winter. However, that doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice a little summertime scent too, does it? I happen to adore NIVEA body lotions, ever have since the first time I used them when I live in Paris. The original scent brings back memories to me. But they have so many options these days that I like to experiment with what they offer.
The NIVEA Oil Infused Lotion With Coconut & Monoi Oil is a treat for the body and the senses. This lotion will infuse your skin with deep hydration and leave it smelling like heaven. It is extremely fast absorbing and nourishing to the skin. And it provides 24 moisture without feeling greasy. This lotion leaves skin feeling soft, radiant and smelling like an ocean paradise.
One of its main ingredients is Glycerin, which is a huge humectant that helps absorb moisture and bring it into the skin. This lotion is best applied to damp skin, as that is when it will hold in moisture best, but can be used anytime to help moisturize and hydrate the skin. Coconut oil and Gardenia Flower Extract provide not only the scent but they help to hydrate the skin too. As does Vitamin E, which is very soothing to the skin as well.
I would recommend this lotion for those with normal to slightly dry skins, that do not need as much nourishment or deep hydration from a body lotion as others do. This works quite well and also makes a nice little hand cream that is light and nourishing too. It does hydrate the skin for at least 24 hours. That is the main reason why I don't recommend it for drier skin types, you might need something more nourishing. What really gets me is the scent of this lotion, in the winter (or any time of the year for that matter) this is a satisfying scent to wear on your body. It transports you to another place, at least for a few hours.
