A couple of months ago I wrote about The Chemistry Brand Hand Chemistry (https://bit.ly/35M59Vkformula for hands and how well it worked on my hands. I have been waiting patiently for the Heel Chemistry formula to come back in stock, and finally my patience paid off. After what seemed like a lifetime, I received my small order of some items that had been out of stock for what seemed like forever. I immediately opened The Chemistry Brand Heel Chemistry formula and applied it to my hard, cracked feet. After a couple of weeks I saw results. Good results.

What makes this product so different is that unlike traditional heel and foot creams, which focus on removing the hard skin, this one has a 19.5% active complex that hydrates the cracked skin topically while supporting below surface hydration to avoid the traditional hard skin cycle. It contains a marine complex that has been clinically proven to improve visible skin texture and hydration, while counteracting extreme dryness. It does not contain urea or acids. Heel Chemistry does contains an extraordinary 19.5% active ingredients. Their Antarctic Marine Complex increases skin health and moisturization, showing a significant increase of skin hydration of 90% in 14 days. Calendula provides a healing a regeneration effect for immediate and long-lasting results. The active complex contains: Pseudoalteromonas Ferment  Complex, Tremella Fuciformis, Purified Calendula Extract, Hydracol and Maze Propanediol. Heel Chemistry also contains the following ingredients that help to moisturize the skin of the feet: Glycerin, Serine, Sporocarp Extract, Soybean Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Propylene Glycol and Limonene. As you may already know, if you have read my blog before, Glycerin is a powerhouse humectant that attracts moisture to the skin and allows it to penetrate deeply to the dermis. Serine is a skin conditioning agent that allows allows moisture to penetrate the skin. Sporocarp Extract helps the skin retain moisture. Soybean Oil is rich in isoflavones, linoleic acid and Vitamin E, all of which help moisturize the skin. Tocopherol or Vitamin E, is an antioxidant that fights off free radicals and is a rich moisturizing agent. Propylene Glycol is another humectant that helps the skin add moisture to itself. Limonene is added to help ingredients penetrate the skin better. Menthol is added purely for a refreshing effect on the skin.

This cream works best if used twice daily to dehydrated areas for 14 days. Continue application as needed. Can be use on heels, hands, elbows and other areas such as knees, that suffer from extreme dryness. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. Do not use on unbroken skin. Patch test prior to use.

I have been using this product twice daily on my heels and have noticed that the cracks in my heels had dissipated somewhat. I would show pictures of my feet, but honestly I happen to have the ugliest feet in the world and I am completely embarrassed of them. Unlike other creams that exfoliate the dead, hard skin of the feet, this cream moisturizes the skin. I would still recommend removing some of the dead hard skin with a pumice stone or file, as it is just easier for the cream to penetrate skin that is softer and less hardened. Whereas urea and acids slough off the dead skin cells, this cream does not. It keeps the skin moisturized and has a slight cooling effect with the added benefit of menthol. I would definitely recommend it if you desire to add a little bit of extraneous work to your routine. Otherwise just applying the cream alone won't product the desired results I do believe. It will help to a degree but physical exfoliation helps too. All in all, the cream is very moisturizing but I still think you need to get rid of some of the hardened skin on the foot in addition for the most desired results.
