Review: DERMA E Acne Rebalancing Cream. #DERMAE #AcneRebalancingCream #beauty #skincare #provencleanbeauty
2 oz./56g $19.50
Let's face it, skin changes with the seasons. And this time of year it gets oilier and often tends to break out more, When the temperature and humidity gets cranked up, our skin produces more sebum and that sebum tends to stick in our pores (hair follicles). Unless we are regularly exfoliating enough, then often this leads to more acne lesions and with this to redness and irritation too. There is one ingredient that is great at helping to curb this and that is salicylic acid.
DERMA E Acne Rebalancing Cream contains salicylic acid as its main ingredient, along with purifying Tea Tree Oil and soothing Aloe Vera to help curb acne breakouts. This cream helps to balance out skin if it is prone to breakouts and blemishes. It can be used everyday to help keep skin looking healthy and clean. Acne Rebalancing Cream is gentle yet effective and nourishes the skin, while normalizing the complexion by replenishing it with essential nutrients. DERMA E uses Salicylic Acid and their unique Anti-Blemish Complex (Tea Tree Oil, Willow Bark Extract, Lavender and Chamomile) to work in harmony to unclog pores, exfoliate the skin and calm redness from breakouts. Salicylic Acid is an exfoliant, an anti-bacterial and an anti-inflammatory to the skin. This cream also contains Glycerin, which helps provide moisture to the skin. Rosewood Oil is commonly used in acne skincare and is calming on the skin. The cream contains Allantoin, which is very soothing for the skin and is known for its use to help relieve redness and irritation. Panthenol is also included in this cream and is very soothing for irritation and redness. Use of the cream produces visible results. After conducting a 4-week consumer trial on the Anti-Acne line, 96% of people experienced a reduction in blemishes. This means it is definitely good for mild and moderate acne.
To use, cleanse the face and neck before using the Rebalancing Cream. Apply a rich layer of the cream to face and neck to balance the skin and help prevent breakouts. This cream can be used in the morning and evening. Works well under makeup. If using during the daytime, make sure to use sunscreen.
I really enjoy how well this cream helps my acne lesions. It doesn't dry out my skin like other acne creams do. That has to do with the inclusion of the glycerin, which is a humectant that adds moisture to the skin. It certainly helps my breakouts and soothes the redness and irritation that comes with them. Anytime you combine salicylic acid with such great soothing ingredients, especially that which is included here, your skin is sure to thank you. My skin had been breaking out from the seasonal change from winter to spring, so I started using this cream. I was experiencing it only on my chin though. Immediately I noticed a difference. My breakouts ended and the cream healed the blemishes I did have. Salicylic acid not only prevents but treats acne blemishes, making it a prophylactic and treatment for acne in one. It beats out benzoyl peroxide in that regard because it is easier on the skin, it kills bacteria and is anti-inflammatory. This cream contains 0.53% salicylic acid, which is a good amount to prevent and treat minor blemishes. I would recommend this product for those with normal, combination to oily skin types. If you have severe acne you will probably need something stronger.
DERMA E Acne Rebalancing Cream retails for $19.50 and can be purchased online at www.dermae.com and at ULTA. https://www.facebook.com/dermaenaturalskincare@derma_ehttps://www.youtube.com/user/DermaEBodycarehttp://instagram.com/dermaehttp://www.pinterest.com/dermae/
