Sorry that I haven't been around for a few days, but my computer died. I was able to wrangle a new a new computer. It will take a few days while I get used to this new laptop. I am going to be writing about the DERMA E Advanced Peptide & Collagen Serum. 

I was sent this serum late last month and have been using it for a few weeks now. What this serum does is helps to support the skin's need for moisture with Vitamin E, and highly effective antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Green Tea. It provides comprehensive anti-aging benefits. The serum contains ingredients that are thought to support collagen health, while visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines an d wrinkles, softening and smoothing the skin's tone and texture, and hydrating skin for unparalleled suppleness. Ingredients in this serum include the following:

• Matrixyl synthe'6®: a potent multi-peptide that is thought to support healthy collagen, so it can boost the luminosity of skin's tone and texture.
• Argireline®NP: a peptide that helps to smooth out the appearance of fine lines on the skin's surface.
• Green Tea: a powerful antioxidant with properties to help reduce the signs of aging. 
• Panthenol: also known as ProVitamin B5, this water soluble Vitamin draws moisture to the skin while conditioning the complexion for a smooth vibrant looking texture. 
• Pycnogenol®: an antioxidant that helps reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and other issues associated with aging skin. It also soothes and reduces the appearance of redness in the skin. 
• Plant derived collagen: an essential skin protein that helps create a more youthful appearance and provides moisturizing benefits. 
• Vitamin C ester: helps to brighten skin, diminish the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and other signs of photo aging, It is used for its superior stability and high levels of Vitamin C stability.
• Vitamin E: an ingredient that is well known for its intense moisturizing power, providing the skin with much need hydration so that it feels supple and soft. 
• Glycerin: a powerful humectant that helps to draw moisture to the skin.
• Vitamin A: helps to lightly exfoliate the skin in the form of Retinyl Palmitate. 
• Allantoin: a soothing ingredient that comes from Comfrey, it helps to reduce redness and itchiness.

To use: cleanse face and neck before using this serum. Apply a thin layer of the white serum to the skin. Gently massage into the skin until absorbed. Use in the morning and evening. It can be used alone or in combination with your favorite DERMA E moisturizer. This serum works best when used in combination with the Advanced Peptides & Collagen Moisturizer.

How did I like this serum? I found that it was very nice. The DERMA E Advanced Peptide & Collagen Serum, in the time that I was able to use it, made my skin feel more moisturized, softer, look brighter, and looked better overall. However I didn't notice any reduction in lines or wrinkles in the few weeks that I used it though. I imagine that it would take about 4-6 weeks to see results for that to occur. The ingredients in this serum are powerhouse ingredients, do not get me wrong. Out of all the serums that DERMA E makes, this is one of their most powerful serums. It happens to have a bevy of wonderful ingredients which make up a serum that will actually do a number of things for the skin. Take for example the two peptides included. Peptides are very advanced protein chains that have been shown to reduce fine lines and wrinkles when used as directed, it just takes some time when using them to see results. Other ingredients, such as Vitamin C, provide effective, proven results to the skin. It brightens, reduces the look of photo aging, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Glycerin is also one of the main ingredients, which happens to be one of my favorite ingredients in any moisturizer. This humectant works extremely well at attracting moisture to the skin, it's non-comedogenic, and works for all skin types. Vitamin E is another effective moisturizer that works well for all skin types and helps to soften the skin and add suppleness. 

I would recommend this product for dry, mature, combination, or normal skin types. Even those with sensitive skin could use it. Although it is a light serum, the product itself is extremely moisturizing and might feel heavy on those with oily and acne skins.  This product is free of mineral oil, parabens, lanolin, is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. My only concern is that this serum has a strong lavender scent and those who do not like strongly scented serums will have issue with it. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all. That is the only caveat I can think of at this moment.
