Eyeglasses are expensive. Very expensive. Often you can pay upwards of $300 for a nice pair of frames and lenses. The new trend is to buy online. I had a friend who did this and I thought she was nuts, but she was very happy with the frames and lenses she bought. I said, “whatever floats your boat!”
Just recently I was approached by the nice folks at Firmoo.com and they said I could pick out a pair of frames and lenses, write about them and possibly promote the site. I was somewhat flabbergasted. At first I thought it was a joke. However, I did pick out a pair of sunglasses. Unfortunately my lenses are too strong and cannot be placed into the frames (I am blind as a bat). That’s okay. I am going to take these cute frames somewhere else and get my lenses placed in them. Here is what was included besides the frames: a hard glasses case, a soft cloth to clean them, another cloth case and a small repair kit with screws.

Why choose Firmoo.com? They offer over 300 styles of affordable and stylish frames for you to choose from. You can buy 8 pairs of different eyewear on the site instead of only one pair at the local retail outlet or mall with the same amount money. Different clothes, different mood, different glasses every day, sounds interesting, huh? And if you don’t want to rack your brain to think it over which style suits you most, they offer a Virtual Try-On System that helps you see how you look with our glasses or sunglasses. You even are able to use your own photo to try our eyewear virtually, and also you can share your awesome try-on photo on yours and Firmoo’s Facebook wall and see what your friends think of it. They think it’s pretty fun and helpful!
Here are some photographs of me with the sunglasses on. I think they fit my face shape well (that is why I chose the shape I did, because I have between a round and oval face shape). The glasses fit well, are not loose at all. When I did look at the options for putting in your prescription, it was fairly easy. All you had to do was have your prescription and then the pupil distance. If you didn’t know it, you could either measure it yourself or have someone do it for you. The folks at Firmoo recommend an average of 3 measurements to get a good pupil distance.

Since my script is difficult, I did opt out of that. I really like the sunglasses though and they look like sunglasses that are of any designer brand. When you go to the website you will see there is a large selection to choose from. Please take advantage of the following offer: http://www.firmoo.com/free-glasses.html. Who knows how much you will save! Thank you to the folks at Firmoo for “opening my eyes” to saving money with online optical stores.
