Review: UNITE Hair Care Products

DSC09650
UNITE hair care was born for the professional hairstylist and client to have the best products at his/her disposal. The products are sulfate and paraben free. In fact, these were some of the first sulfate free products on the market. Each product is of the highest quality. UNITE consists of a boutique line of 32 professional products. All of the products have been through thorough research and testing, so that UNITE can give each salon the finest performance products available.

Moisturizing Shampoo: This nourishes moisture starved hair, while providing shine. It does not weigh down hair. This can be used for color treated hair. It is 100% vegan and as mentioned above, is free of sulfates, parabens and is also free of sodium chloride and gluten. $27.50 (10 oz.)
I found this product to be luxurious and cleansed my hair very well. I did not feel that I needed to repeat the cleansing, as it did the job the first time. It lathers up very well too. I like this shampoo a lot! My hair felt very soft when wet too. An unusual feeling.

Moisturizing Conditioner: This conditioner is packed with vitamins and amino acids that help nourish your hair and radiate its natural shine. It has Vitamins A, E, C and B5. It repairs and protects hair. Also good for color treated hair, locking in the color. Acts as a thermal protector. $29.95 (10 oz.)
This conditioner is thinner than most, I had a hard time getting it all over my hair and making sure it was doing its job and not running down my neck. After rinsing though my hair felt very soft and when I was done blow drying I did any problems with my hair (frizziness). My hair was soft and well conditioned. It did a great job.

GO365 Hairspray: 3 Hairsprays in one. Turn nozzle to desired strength and you get the hold (soft, medium or strong) you want! 100% vegan, paraben free, sodium chloride free and gluten free. $31.00 (10 oz.)
This has to be the coolest hairspray I have ever used!!! Seriously, just turn the nozzle and get the hold you want? I love it!!!! I love that I can get soft or strong hold. Well worth the money. Better than Elnett from L’Oreal. The hairspray itself is actually very nice too. It holds up nicely.

Expanda Dust: Not your regular hair powder for in-between shampoos. This is a powder that is used to style hair. Used for volume, a puff on the roots adds extraordinary volume. Also sprinkle around hair for added texture. It has kaolin, tapioca and corn starch. $26.25 (6gm)
My results? I had some trouble with it at first. I used it on the roots and afterward I couldn’t brush my hair! I did have volume, so it did what it said it would do but I wanted to brush my hair some and it kind of made my hair stiff. I like that I had the volume but I want to be able to brush, the only caveat. I think I used too much though. This required a bit of trial and error. I used too much the first time. You only need a tiny bit. Use in your hands then place in roots. It still makes hair voluminous and somewhat stiff, but not as much as the first time I used it.
UNITE is available for purchase on http://www.uniteeurotherapy.com/shop. Or you can look for local salons through the website on the salon locator. I am very pleased with the way these products make my hair feel. Who wouldn’t love soft, voluminous hair?
