Review: Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder

Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder

Revlon’s Nearly NakedTM Pressed Powder was formulated to go with Nearly Naked Foundation. This powder is extremely lightweight in texture, is silky soft and blends seamlessly into skin. It provides natural coverage while evening out skin tone and also minimizes the appearance of imperfections. Because it is so lightweight it feels and looks as if you are not wearing powder at all. One of the best things about it is that it is non-cakey.

A great thing about this powder is that you can build up the coverage to your expressed level. Just use the puff applicator included and apply over entire face until your desired level of coverage has been obtained. Nearly NakedTM Pressed Powder comes in 6 shades: Fair, Light, Medium, Medium/Deep, Deep and Dark.

Personally I like to use a powder brush and build up my coverage. I have used this powder several times with my bottle of Nearly Naked Foundation (http://iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2012/12/review-revlon-nearly-naked-foundation.html). I like the foundation a lot, it gave great coverage and it felt like there was nothing on my skin! Using the powder and foundation together yields a nice base for makeup.

Below you can see three of the colors available for Nearly Naked Pressed Powder:

I swatched the colors above on my arm. I took the powder and tried to get as much pigment on there as possible. As you can see, the colors look very natural, even Medium/Deep doesn’t show up too dark on my forearm. It is not a heavy powder, as others are. The pigments used in this powder do their job but don’t cake up on the face. The skin looks fresh and not as if you are wearing any powder at all!

This item also goes well with the new Revlon BB Cream Skin Perfector (http://iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2013/07/review-revlon-photoready-bb-cream-skin.html). See my other reviews on the new Revlon items, such as the new Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss(http://iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2013/07/review-new-revlon-super-lustrous.html), which you can use with  the iconic Super Lustrous Lipstick (http://iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2013/07/review-new-revlon-super-lustrous_8.html) For eyes Revlon has their PhotoReady Shadow + Primer (http://www.iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2013/07/review-revlon-photoready-primershadow.html) and PhotoReady Kajal Eyeliner + Brightener (http://www.iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2013/07/review-revlon-photoready-kajal-intense.html). Make sure to use their new Lash Potion by Grow Luscious (http://iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2013/07/review-revlon-lash-potion-by-grow.html) on your lashes. For your lips you will want the all day look of ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick (http://www.iamthemakeupjunkie.blogspot.com/2013/07/review-revlon-colorstay-ultimate-suede.html).
