I subscribe to a good number of monthly beauty sample boxes. Mainly for the fun of it, but also for the fact that these boxes gives a good window into the best of current products on the market today. Wantable is best of these monthly beauty boxes because with these boxes you can get the products you are most likely to use!
Here’s how it works:
- Start by filling out an in depth survey on your likes and dislikes on beauty. These include questions such as, “ So you like eye liner and in what form do like it in? Liquid? Cake? Cream? Gel? Pencil?” You are more likely to get products that are in your like range than dislike range. There is a neutral option, it’s all on a sliding scale actually.
- After these series of in depth questions, the service will choose a few products that they have and they think you will like. Product brands include: Lise Watier, Face Stockholm, Michael Marcus, Be A Bombshell, Japonesque, Skinn, Manna Kadar and much more. Believe me, these questions are very in depth!
- You can subscribe for $36.00 a month for get one box for $40.00. The boxes are valued at $80.00 or more in items. You have the right to cancel or slip a box any time you would like to.
- When you receive your box it comes with 5-6 FULL SIZE items from these lines. That is why I like this subscription box so much. They are not just samples, they are the real products! I did receive a sample once, but it is the only time I received a sample.
Wantable also has an Accessories box and an Intimates box, for the same prices. I tried the Intimates box for one month. When they sent it, there were 2 items missing and I informed them. The 2 items were here for me within a couple of days! I didn’t like the sizes too much for the Intimates box, so I am not going to keep getting that one.
This month they offered a great extra, a Halloween Box, which I also picked up. Loved this!!!! It has 8 full size items from Cinema Secrets, a great brand loved by makeup artists. I would suggest you pick this one up. It is the same price as all of their other boxes and you get more items. The items are specially curated for Halloween looks.
Here is one of the boxes I received:
The September Wantable Box was created from questions I answered online. It contained the following: Lise Watier Ombre Soufflé Supreme Sample, Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Divine, Japonesque Foundation Brush Angled, Manna Kadar High Definition Powder and Michael Marcus Brunette Brow Pencil.

Here is the awesome Halloween Box. It has some great products to use for everyday looks or to create fun Halloween looks. Here is what it contains: Cinema Secrets Ultimate Eyeshadow Very black, Cinema Secrets Ultimate Eyeshadow Gold, Ultimate Pro Lip Pencil Ruby, Hollywood Lights Tacky, STOR Eyelash #138 and Eyelash Adhesive, 5-in-1 Ultimate Lip Palette #1 Can You Buy Me Love, Hollywood Lights Glitz Chorus Line and Hollywood Lights Glitz Oscar.

The thing about these boxes is that you may not get all the perfect items you want, but you are more likely to get items that you want to use than in any other beauty box you subscribe. During my survey I put “like” for powder, eyebrow pencil and eye shadow. And I got it! I also put “like” for lip sticks and lipglosses. Basically I like certain things and I usually get them in these boxes. With some of the other monthly beauty boxes I may never use what they send me. That is a shame because I spend so much on these! I would like to see more skincare in these boxes too than just makeup. That would be nice. I really think this is just about the best of the monthly beauty boxes on the internet today. Fill out a survey, wait a couple of days and you have a plethora of goodies at your door to play with! How can you beat that?
For the October Makeup Box they teamed up with makeup artist Christina Farrell so that she can bring you some of Fall’s most beautiful shades. Also, they recently had a giveaway with Au Naturale Cosmetics and one of my favorite bloggers, My Beauty Bunny who’s goal is about cruelty free cosmetics and a cruelty free beauty world. I really like the direction Wantable is going in!
The Wantable Beauty Box is available at www.wantable.com. They have a great return policy. If you don’t like your box, you can send it back, no questions asked! Currently they ship to the United States, Canada and Australia.
