A few weeks ago I wrote about Laura Mercier’s foundation primer (http://bit.ly/19V7xol) and how this is one of the fabulous secrets to the “flawless face” philosophy. Another part of the flawless face equation is her Secret Camouflage concealer. This concealer comes with two shades that allow you to customize the coverage to meet your needs. For me it is one light, creamy shade and a slightly darker shade. This concealer covers discolorations, imperfections and redness. It is oil-free, long wearing and is for all skin types, even sensitive skin. It comes in 8 shade ranges.
Secret Camouflage is Step 3 in Laura Mercier’s Flawless Face Philosophy. First, apply the Foundation Primer. Then apply foundation that is as close to your skin tone as possible. Next comes concealer. And finally setting powder.
Why do I think Secret Camouflage is so special? For me it is the ability to customize the concealer to my skin tone. And the fact that it wears so long. I am extremely pale. So pale that I really have a hard time finding a concealer that works for me. At 
all! This concealer is perfect as I can make one that will work for me, anywhere I need it. I can make a shade that will work under my eyes and I can then make a shade that will work for the rest of my face, which is slightly darker.
Here is SC-1: on the left is the darker side, the middle is the lighter side and on the right is the shade I have made with both of these colors. This concealer is very thick and almost waterproof. If you get it wet it will not wear off, it has to be removed with makeup remover or cleanser. To apply you can use your fingers or a concealer brush. It is perfect for anywhere on the face: dark circles, blemishes, birthmarks, covering age spots, etc.
