Review: Acai Colon Cleanse

Acai Colon Cleanse

Supposedly we have a build up of waste in our bodies that we can get rid of by using colon cleanse products. Now, I am not sure if I believe this or not, because I think that when we get rid of food waste, it goes out of the body and does not sit around in our intestines. However, I was willing to try this product out. Now, because I had a tumor that left me with severe neuropathy and back problems, I want to say that I take pain meds. The pain meds make my intestines fairly sluggish. I have to take Miralax all of the time. So I was excited to try this out and see if I could get things moving along.

This product is made in the USA according to FDA approval. Let me say that this one has 900mg: Acai Fruit Exract, Juniper Berry, Dandelion Root, Uva Ursi, Senna Leaf, Psyllium Husk, Buchu Extract, L-Carnitine and Vitamin B6. The two items that I know to promote movment of the intestines are Psyllium and Senna. The recommended dose is two capsules with 8 ounces of water and not to exceed 4 capsules per day. I took two and nothing happened. So I took 4 and found that I had cramping that was fairly severe and then some cleansing action. It did work with the higher dose for me. I thought the cramping was severe and did not want to deal with that again. However, the 2 capsules did not work at all for me. The company does have a satisfaction guarantee with your order and if you are not happy will give you a 100% refund of your money.

It retails for $24.95 on Amazon.com: http://amzn.to/1e1CPkl
