L’Occitane has entered the cosmetics arena and they have done so with a flourish! They have introduced their first product, the Immortelle Precious BB Crème. This multi-purpose product has been shown to help smooth skin texture*, even out skin tone, conceal uneven skin tone, conceal blemishes and to brighten dull skin. It smoothes the skin, helps to get rid of signs of stress and also signs of fatigue are softened. The Immortelle formula protects the skin, helps to protect against damaging effects of photo-aging, thanks to its UV filters. It has a SPF 30 Broad Spectrum sunscreen. The sunscreen is titanium dioxide 15.32%, which is an all natural mineral sunscreen. Make sure to apply 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. The formula is enriched with organic immortelle essential oil, which is rich in active molecules that offer unique anti-aging results.
The Immortelle Precious BB Crème comes in 3 shades: Fair, Light and Medium. L’Occitane recommends using the medium shade for darker skin tones or for a sunkissed effect. Use the light shade for a slightly gold skin tone. Use the Fair shade for a light slightly rosy skin tone. I used Fair and it was absolutely perfect for me. Which is highly unusual. Most foundations and BB Creams are way too dark but this is a great cream for me. I love it. Now, I have extremely light skin that is neutral. I don’t find the Fair shade to be rosy at all. The Light shade would also work for me if I were to use it after self-tanner or if I needed something for summer, or just if I needed a more golden look.
