“The paint strokes of color are meant to look like accessories.”
– Dick Page, Shiseido Artistic Director
· Created By: Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page
· Inspiration: Inspired by the pioneer of modern architecture, Le Corbusier, Dick created a color palette of dark bottle green, neutral greenish-brown, pale buttery yellow, soft coral pink, slate grey and white.
· Products:
o Eye: The eyes are defined with painterly brushstrokes and “little gestures of color” applied in an asymmetrical fashion using Eye Shadow Brush in Medium. Similar colors can be achieved by using Shimmering Cream Eye Colors in Sable (BR709), Caviar (BK912) and Purple Dawn (VI305).
o Face: The models without a colored makeup look wore a bare face that was prepped with Ibuki Refining Moisturizer Enriched, and foundation was applied very minimally as needed using Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation (NEW for Spring 2016).
o Lip: Benefiance Full Correction Lip Treatment was applied for moisture and then blotted with a dab of foundation to mute the lips.
