Lucid & Dirty Chocolate and Coffee Scrub is a great face and body scrub. It contains ground coffee, chocolate, cocoa butter, brown sugar, sea salt, komenuka (Japanese Rice Bran, which has Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin E), coconut oil. The scrub can be used on the face and body. I love it for my keratosis pilaris, as it helps to get rid of the bumps on my arms. It helps to reduce stretch marks, remove all of the nasty dead skin cells on the body and face and it makes skin feel soft and smooth. The coconut oil helps to hydrate the skin, It also conditions, moisturizes and softens the skin while nourishing skin cells. Komenuka has beneficial oils, nourishing moisturizers and the following Vitamins: vitamins A, B1, B12, and E. Those are anti-oxidants that keep skin looking younger as they are anti-aging Vitamins. Cocoa butter is also full of anti-oxidants, and it softens the skin, reduces stretch marks and skin irritation. It also helps to heal damaged skin.
The scrub is soft enough that it can be used on the face too, except if you have inflamed acne. I would avoid it if there are papules and pustules on the skin. This is a great scrub and I love the way it makes my skin feel. The caffeine in ground coffee beans helps to brighten and tighten up the skin. It also helps to smooth cellulite by promoting blood flow to the skin. Brown sugar exfoliates the skin, as does sea salt. Sea salt also helps to plump up the skin. This scrub does not contain any chemicals whatsoever. It is all natural. The best way to use this product is to wet skin in the shower first then use the scoop to get some of the scrub out of the bag, Massage scrub over body and face, concentrating on dry areas. Leave on for 5-10 minutes so that the scrub can get to work. Then rinse off. Skin will feel soft, smooth and wonderful!
