Review: Maybelline Master Contour by FaceStudio #Maybelline #MasterContour #FaceStudio

One of the hottest beauty trends that you have likely seen everywhere is contouring. Contouring is very hot right now. It's back from the 80's, but it's much better. Better than ever I'd say! Every company has a contour kit. Don't be scared of contouring, it's not that hard to accomplish if you know what to do.

Maybelline Master Contour by FaceStudio is amazing. It makes contouring simple, fast and easy. It comes in three shade choices, with two shades in each stick. It's a V-Shaped Duo Stick, that contours for structure and highlights to enhance. It glides on easily and blends like a dream. I tried two of the colors, Light and Deep. It also comes in Medium. You will love using this because it makes contouring sooooooo easy and quick. There is no need to purchase a kit with six or eight colors in it, this is really all you need. And if you want, you could get all of these colors to make up your contouring kit.

When you contour, you are trying to enhance certain features and hide others. You use the lightest shade on the cheekbones, middle of the forehead, down the nose, and in the middle of the chin. The dark shade is used under the cheekbones, on the side of the nose, maybe on the end of the nose, on the side of the forehead, under the jawline and on the side of the chin. You can also take the dark shade all the way down the cheeks, making them slimmer. Once you have applied the shades, you blend them in either with a brush or a sponge. Blending is the key to successful contouring. If it isn't blended well, then you will not look right.

Here are two of the shades, Light and Deep:

Maybelline Master Contour by FaceStudio retails for $10.99. It may be purchased on www.maybelline.com, or at mass market retailers such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS, some Bed, Bath and Beyond stores and Wal-Mart.

Until Next Time~
