I was lucky enough to receive from preen.me the highlight of the season: Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mask Bar + Charcoal Brush. Let me tell you. This mask is amazing. It clears out your pores in just a few minutes. Your face will feel like it has been vacuumed cleaned by a Dyson.
It is different than most masks. Essentially I am thinking it was a liquid mask that was dried up and poured into this cute little bin and when you take the brush and apply very warm water to it, swirl it around the mask bar and then apply it to your face, you have your mask. And the best thing is you can make it as thick or thin as you want to. You don't want to wet the brush too much or then too much water will get onto the bar. Just slighly dampen the brush and sweep across the Charcoal Mask Bar. Brush onto clean skin, building up and even layer of mask around your face. Allow to dry for 10 minutes. To remove, wipe of mask with a damp cloth or wipe and rinse off any remaining mask. The wiping is to get a good exfoliation going.
This mask does not only contain charcoal. It contains Tomato Seed Oil, Tomato Fruit Extract, Hydrolyzed Tomato Skin, Allantoin, Niacinamide, Safflower Seed Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Glycerin, Salicylic Acid, and Kaolin. The oils are very good for the skin and help to moisturize it. The glycerin is a humectant and brings moisture to he skin. The Niacinamide is an anti-oxidant. Katolin is a clay that sucks the gunk out of pores. The tomato extracts help to get rid of acne. And Salicylic Acid is antibacterial and also an exfoliant. Allantoin is an anti-inflammatory and is soothing to the skin.
After using this your skin will definitely feel different. Imaging using it a few times, after using it a few times your skin will feel just amazing. This is a great mask to use if you have oily skin, acne, dry skin with acne, combination skin but very dry skins and sensitive skins should avoid. This mask will be great going into spring and summer especially.
