A few years ago when Maybelline began to undergo a transformation and began to overhaul all of their product line. One thing they did was to revamp their eyeshadows. So glad they did. When they did they came out with new highly pigmented, long-wearing formulas that are super cute and on trend, and that work well with every fashion trend of the moment. That being said one other thing they did was to create these little palettes called City Mini Palettes. They are tiny palettes of six shades of eyeshadows that are coordinated shades in various collections, so far there are fourteen of them, that are gorgeous and definitely worth checking out.
Recently I tried two of these City Mini Palettes in Cocoa City and Skyscape Dusk. Cocoa City (one of the newest additions) is a mixture various of browns, golds and bronzes, in shimmers and mattes. Skyscape Dusk is a mixture of plums, beiges and browns all in matte shades.
I like these palettes because the colors are pigmented, creamy, long-wearing and they blend well together. The shadows are not chalky nor do they fade out during the day. The colors stay true and are rich and vibrant. I am quite enjoying the revamp and overhaul of all of the Maybelline eyeshadows that have come out recently.
