I have a few Pixi products that I tried out from the Retinol line, which is definitely appropriate for my age. Their Retinol line is their anti-aging line, which is newer and is great for anyone over 35 years old, who wants to help stop the signs of aging. One of the other products that I tried out that is part of Pixi's Retinol line is the Pixi Retinol Tonic.
This potent youth preserving tonic features a unique time release retinol to help rejuvenate the skin for a natural glow. It also contains powerful antioxidants and botanicals to replenish the skin for a smoother, softer appearance while soothing sensitive skin. Glow Tonic's multi-action treatment with time-release retinol also replenishes skin with potent antioxidants and contains potent peptides to firm skin and boost collagen production, jasmine flower to heal and balance and of course, a strong retinol to renew and smooth skin.
The best time to use Pixi Glow Tonic is after cleansing, like you would any toner. Apply with a cotton pad, to dry, clean skin. If the retinol irritates your skin, stop using twice a day and use only once a day or every other day, whichever works better for you. Retinol can be irritating to the skin and some people cannot handle it. It does slough off dead skin cells and helps relieve lines and wrinkles.
To me, this is just an added bonus and another way to help smooth my skin and have it look better. I love how this toner makes my skin look glowy, beautiful, firmer, brighter and all around better. It definitely gets rid of dead skin cells while also helping to boost collagen production. Skin looks great almost immediately.
