Sometimes I still get blemishes. Yes, even at the ripe old age of 48, I still get blemishes. It f*cking sucks because I am about to enter into menopause and I would think my skin would be telling me by now that it should stop producing sebum and to calm the f*ck down. But, I have found a few ways to help stop most of the blemishes from forming. One, use Retin-A. Two, use BLUME Meltdown Oil For Acne-Prone Skin. These are my go to's for helping to rid my skin of any nasties to prevent them from popping up and to treat the ones that do pop up.

BLUME Meltdown Oil For Acne-Prone Skin is an amazing smelling OIL (yes, you heard me right) that you put on your skin and use to treat blemishes that are forming on the skin. It clears up regular acne, cystic and hormonal acne and any kind of acne. Made from a powerful combination of all-natural ingredients, use just a tiny drop in the area you need. It will never leave skin dry or oily, just clear. Simply apply to spots and blemishes before bed and wake up to miraculous results. Or, dab it onto areas you feel are starting to form a "nasty" blemish or will make an appearance to stop them from ever seeing the light of day. Meltdown averted!

I used this last night on some areas that I thought were starting to "blossom" into blemishes and it immediately went to work. This morning my skin is smooth, and the blemishes never made it to fruition. They are gone. I love this product and will be putting it on my best finds of 2019. Not only does it fight breakouts, but it calms inflammation, it prevents scarring and shrinks pores (hair follicles). It is truly great for all skin types, has a naturally fragrant blend of the powerful plants inside, requires only 1 drop to do its job and needs to be used only nightly or whenever you feel like a blemish is erupting. Plus, there is no need to use this all over the face. This product is BPA free, gluten-free, aluminum-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, is vegan and organic.

Now, if you do have acne all over your face, I would highly recommend trying a product from a dermatologist first and then using this when your skin is somewhat under control. It is not specifically made to be an all over the face type of product.

To use, cleanse skin and pat dry. Use a tiny drop and pat gently on the area to be treated. Once that area is dry, you may use your regular moisturizer.

Some of the ingredients in this product are:
  • rosehips-soothing and brightening, these help fade dark spots and scars.
  • blue tansy-referred to as a miracle ingredient, it calms and soothes while repairing.
  • tamanu-this power plant helps get rid of redness, acne and bacteria
  • lavender-works to prevent acne while also relieving the skin of blemishes too.
  • black cumin seed-this exotic elixir is a triple threat: anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging.
Meltdown Oil For Acne-Prone Skin can also be used in the following ways: use it in a clay mask or in your moisturizer. Just add a few drops in with the mask to help amp up the mask. Or, mix just a few drops in your moisturizer to help fade scars, shrink pores, and prevent breakouts.

I think you will find this product works as well for you as it does for me. It is expensive but it lasts a long time and you only need a small amount. Very small amount each time you use it.

BLUME Meltdown Oil For Acne-Prone Skin retails for $28.00 for the 0.5 fl.oz./15mL size and $45.00 for the 1 fl.oz./30mL size. If you subscribe to it they will knock 20% off the price.
