A few days ago I reviewed a day moisturizer from CeraVe that I thought was excellent for all skin types. Today I am going to review the night cream they have. Is it good for all skin types? What are its main features? Read below to find out.
Skin is an organ. And because it is alive and working, it often succumbs to the frivolities of our bodies. First of all, it needs moisture around the clock. Either through water intake orally or through a cream/lotion that you would use to apply on the skin. I have shown you a perfectly wonderful day lotion that is acceptable for all skin types but I would like to show you one for night too. This night cream contains niacinamide, which is ideal to soothe skin while you sleep. For maximum hydration and skin-barrier replenishment that helps the skin hold on to moisture, look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid and ceramides, which this lotion has. It is also non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores or cause acne flare-ups. Ideal for normal to oily skins, CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion features three essential barrier-strengthening ceramides, along with the hyaluronic acid and the niacinamide. This rich, yet lightweight night lotion uses patented MVE Delivery Technology to deliver a steady stream of much-needed moisture throughout the night while your skin repairs itself and helps the skin hold onto it. This cream is also hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and non-irritating. Developed with dermatologists.
This cream is best for those with normal, oily and acneic skins who need more moisture than what they have been getting with other creams. I like it because it is perfect for spring and summer when the weather is warmer and I like to switch to lighter-weight lotions that are good for my normal to dry skin. The ceramides in this lotion really help to keep skin hydrated all night long.
CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion is available for $24.78 and can be purchased online at www.amazon.com and in mass market retailers such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS, Target and ULTA.
