If you have ever read my blog, then you know I am a huge fan of K-Beauty (Korean skincare and makeup). I am especially a fan of GLOW RECIPE, which makes the most interesting food based skincare around. Recently I received one of their products in one of my subscription boxes and I fell in love with it.
GLOW RECIPE Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist is a hydrating mist so ultra-fine and delicate, it envelops your skin like a "dreamy morning fog". The formula is pack with a juicy blend of 84% watermelon, hyaluronic acid and hibiscus AHAS to refresh skin and enhance makeup. This bi-phase mist combines two great things into something even better. Shake it before use, then spray it to mix the nourishing-oil layer with the water based active extracts for a haze of softening, smoothing and illuminating hydration. You will love this hydrating mist for its ability to enhance your natural dewy glow and your makeup with a single spritz! This product is great for dry skin, normal skin, combination skin and oily skin. It helps to correct dullness and dryness.
The key ingredients in this mist are the following:
- Watermelon: this amino acid and vitamin-rich fruit provides exceptional hydration while fighting off free radicals to visibly prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
- Hyaluronic Acid: offers an instant quench to skin, making this soothing face mist an excellent choice for those with dry, irritated skin. It hydrates and visibly plumps skin by holding 1000x its weight in moisture.

This is a bi=phase mist. Before you spray, make sure to shake the bottle so that you can incorporate both phases of the mist. The bi-phase mist separates into two layers that need to be fully incorporated for its glow-boosting effects to work best. Once all of the natural skincare ingredients mix, they work together to hydrate, soften and give skin glowing radiance throughout the day.
Use As A Hydrating Glow Mist: from 8-10 inches away, firmly press nozzle and mist 2-3 times across face. Hold closer to face for maximum dewy effect. Use throughout the day. If you have oily/combination skin, spray it once every few hours to refresh your skin. If your skin is on the drier side, just hold it closer to your face and apply two spritzes every two hours to maintain hydration.
Use As a Makeup Prep + Perfecting Mist: from 8-10 inches away, firmly press nozzle and mist 2-3 times to refresh skin and set makeup.
At first I received this and thought it was kind of gimmicky. But then I used it and realized the product was quite good. I like to use it before I put on any serums or skincare products as an addition to my hydration regimen. This mist adds a lot of hydration to the skin. The mist is very fine and all you need is 2-3 pumps to achieve exactly what you need. I would recommend this for all skin types except acneic. It is especially good for dry and dehydrated skins.
