Today I am going to write about something that is usually not discussed in public but many suffer from: urinary incontinence. About ten years ago I was diagnosed with a nerve tumor on one of my spinal nerves. It had been there for seven years and was huge when they finally told me about it. When it was removed the nerve damage left me with something called a neurogenic bladder, as the tumor had sat on the nerve to my bladder, which is fancy language for urinary incontinence. I had bladder leakage and urinary frequency. Not to mention the fact that I had already given birth to two kids and was experiencing some leakage when I would sneeze.
