The Exuviance Skin Caring BB Fluid with Sunscreen  Broad Spectrum SPF50PA++++ is a lightweight, sheer hydrating fluid with a supposedly universal invisible tint. It helps skin tone appear naturally beautiful and more even while adding skin care benefits such as daily renewal and protection. It contains PHAs (polyhydroxy acids) to provide renewing hydration and a light exfoliation. The PHAs it contains are gluconlactone and lactobionic acid. These exfoliate the skin and hydrate at the same time. It also contains a broad spectrum SPF50 PA++++ is mineral based titanium dioxide 7% and zinc oxide 6%. Vitamin E and Green Tea extract help protect against daily environmental aggressors. Both of these are antioxidants that will help fight off free radicals and keep skin aging to a minimum.

This has been designed for all skin types. It is fragrance-free, oil-free, non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic.  However I do not think it works for all skin tones. The shade is a light to medium beige. It wouldn't work for dark skin tones. Also the broad spectrum SPF50 is a great choice for those who cannot use chemical sunscreens and need to use mineral ones. This is a mineral sunscreen and will work as such to reflect rays back off of the skin instead of absorbing them. I don't think it would work for dark skin tones because it would cause whitecast as is prone with most mineral sunscreens.

After 4 weeks of use*:
  • 100% found the face fluid was easy to apply, was gentle and non-irritating.
  • 97% found it evens skin tone and  does not feel drying
  • 93% found it gives ultra-sheer coverage
  • 93% found it is non-whitening
(*percentage of respondents noting a favorable improvement or attribute)

As mentioned above, this makes a nice tinted moisturizer with skincare benefits, which is what a BB Cream is. However, the tint is not universal and I think it works for only those with very light to medium skin tones. For those whom this would work for, it does do a good job of making a great mineral sunscreen with skin hydrating/exfoliating benefits. It is better than a tinted moisturizer alone. Because it does have a high SPF, I would recommend it. Also, because it is non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic too. Above all else I believe in the power of sunscreen for anti-aging purposes. Make sure to shake well before using too.

Until Next Time~
