I am sure by now that you have heard of FENTY SKIN. It is Rihanna's skincare line, an adjunct to her famous cosmetics line. When it first came out I tried out a couple of the items and have been wanting to review them but just never found the time. Now that I finally have the time I can give Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF30 my full attention.  

This product is a light-as-air hydration, invisible SPF30, broad spectrum moisturizer/sunscreen that defends and brightens skin while reducing the look of pores. The 2-in-1 moisturizer and sunscreen is lightweight, oil-free and truly invisible on all skin tones. What this means is no white cast on any skin tone. It helps hydrate the skin, balks at discoloration and dark spots. Makeup friendly, no pilling and zero flashback. Best of all, it is refillable and reef safe with the environment in mind. The outer box is recyclable, you can just keep the outer shell of the container and purchase a refill when you need a new one. And it doesn't contain Oxybenzone or Octinoxate, which have been associated with damaging coral reefs. Instead, it contains Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 9% and Octisalate 4.5%; totaling a broad spectrum SPF30. If you are sensitive to chemical sunscreens this product should not be worn by you. 

It is vitally important that you wear sunscreen every day, rain or shine. That is why this is not only a sunscreen but a moisturizer too. This does two jobs in one, so you don't have to choose. Hydration and sun protection in one product. The beautiful pink-tinted cream applies invisibly on all skin tones without chalkiness, so don't worry about any white cast for those of you with darker skin tones. Absorbs instantly and makes a great primer for makeup, as it smooths and softens skin. Will not pill, ball up or cause any flashback in photographs. It boosts and brightens skin too, reduces the look of dark spots, making pores & fine lines and wrinkles less visible (instantly and over time). Has a fresh desert melon scent. This product was made for all skin types. This is non-comedogenic, it will not clog pores. And it is also clean, vegan and gluten-free. 

Hydra Vizor is made with Kalahari melon, a wild watermelon that is rich in antioxidants and vitamins to help hydrate the skin. Niacinamide (also known as ProVitamin B5) helps to reduce the look of dark spots, evens out skin and fights excess shine by reducing sebum production. Hyaluronic acid helps to hydrate the skin, by pulling in water from the air & soothes and conditions the skin. Baobab is an African tree that bears nutrient-rich superfruit and helps to hydrate the skin.

In a clinical study on 52 women, after 8 weeks of use found that Hydra Vizor:

I have been wearing this product since it first came out a few months ago and love it. It is one of the best sunscreen/moisturizer combination products I have ever used. Why? It provides just the right amount of hydration needed for my dry skin, while providing at least a SPF30 that my skin needs. I have already had skin cancer twice now at age 49, and MUST wear sunscreen every day, so a product like this is essential for me. And when I mean every day, I mean even indoors, because the sun's rays can come in through the window and patio doors too. Even on days when there isn't any sun and it is raining. It is essential for everyone, even those with very dark skin tones to wear sunscreen every day, because the sun's rays are responsible for up to 90% of aging and all of the skin cancer cases. And yes, if you have black and brown skin you can still get skin cancer. 

Hydra Vizor does provide good SPF30 coverage and has great anti-aging ingredients in it too. Niacinamide helps to brighten the skin and lighten dark spots. I have been using so many products for that lately, so I cannot speak as to whether this helps on that note. But it does hydrate the heck out of the skin. The hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate and glycerin in this are three humectants that attract water to the skin, providing excellent hydration. Kalahari melon & baobab also help to hydrate the skin. It also has antioxidant rich Vitamin E, which fights off free radicals from the environment. Aloe barbadensis leaf juice reduces inflammation and soothes & smoothes the skin. I absolutely love this product and would purchase the refill for it. It makes a great moisturizer/sunscreen for daily use. Not only that, but it works as a great primer under makeup. Although you could probably still wear the FENTY BEAUTY Pro Filt'r Hydrating Primer ($32.00) or the FENTY BEAUTY Pro Filt'r Mattifying Primer ($32.00).
