I am one of those people who happen to have a dry, itchy scalp. My scalp doesn't produce many oils to help protect the hair it grows, just the dead skin cells that get flaked off and it itches me like crazy. I have found relief in a couple of products. One of these products being the DERMA E Scalp Relief Treatment. 

This treatment is wonderful for dry scalps like mine, as it helps to promote a balanced and hydrated scalp for optimal scalp health, which helps keep hair growing its best. It is a water based serum that soothes and nourishes dry, itchy scalps for a more balanced, hydrated and healthy one. Formulated with hydrating & moisturizing Aloe Vera Barbadensis Gel, purifying Tea Tree Oil and cooling Menthol, this powerful, serum soothes dry, flakey and itchy scalps. Moisturizing Sea Kelp and adaptogen Amla Extracts, combined with DERMA E's proprietary Herbal Blend of Neem, Burdock and Bearberry helps to promote a balanced and hydrated scalp for optimal health. Tea Tree Oil is an essential oil that works to cleanse the scalp of debris while improving its overall health. Rich in vitamins, Sea Kelp Extract is a moisturizing algae that helps to promote a healthier scalp and stronger hair. Blue Algae works to moisturize the scalp. A nutrient rich moisturizing oil, Alma Oil, promotes hair thickness and health. Niacinamide helps to reduce inflammation in the scalp and help with hair loss. A humectant that is going to bring water to the scalp and thus help add hydration is Glycerin. Green Tea Leaf is used to help with hair loss. As is Caffeine, which is also included. This product not only help with a dry itchy scalp but has ingredients in it which have been known to help with hair loss. 

To use: shake well. Apply after washing and before styling. Part hair into sections. Apply a few drops into each section then massage into scalp. Do not rinse. Treatment can also be used overnight as a pre-shampoo scalp treatment. 

Let me tell you, as someone who suffers from an itchy, dry scalp; this treatment is like nirvana. I love to use it as a pre-treatment overnight and leave it in then rinse it out the next morning. But it also works great to just use as a style in treatment too. It is one of those all around great hair products that really soothes a dry, flakey, irritated scalp. You may not realize this but scalp care is a very important part of hair care. If your scalp is not in good condition then hair loss can occur. So it is vitally important that you keep your scalp in good condition to keep your hair in good condition too. I have been very happy with DERMA E hair products and how well they have performed.
