Lush beautiful lashes have always been a dream of mine. I was unfortunately born with wispy, invisible, thin and short lashes that do not show up at all. Even when I am wearing a ton of mascara. I have found that a good lash primer works wonders for me, though. I have tried a few of them but found only one that works really well and that is the best.

The one lash primer I prefer is the Essence Makeup Volume Booster Lash Primer. It instantly increases the volume of any mascara. Infused with açai oil and mango butter for for nurtured lashes, To use, apply one to two coats of the primer to bare lashes before applying mascara. Let primer dry before applying mascara. This primer will add significant bump to your volume. As with other Essence Makeup products, this product is vegan and paraben-free.

Below is a photo of me without any makeup on my eyes. You can easily see my eyelashes, or lack thereof:

Here are photos of me wearing the primer over my lashes, while wearing eyeshadow:

As you can see, the Volume Booster Lash Primer takes my wispy, invisible lashes and lengthens them as well as adds volume to them. It contains açai oil and mango butter as well as special waxes and Vitamin E. This allows the primer to thicken the lashes and add volume & length to them. To me this one works better than any other I have ever tried. It actually thickens them, so much that it shows up on camera actually. I have tried lash serums too but they don't really work for me. This product works quite well and the price cannot be beat.

Essence Makeup Volume Booster Lash Primer retails for $4.99 and is available from www.essencemakeup.com and ULTA Beauty Like essence makeup on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/essence.north.america/; Follow essence makeup on Twitter: @essencemakeup and Follow essence makeup on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/essencemakeup/.

  1. There are plenty of ways to identify a beauty junkie: She always sports a flawless face, holds an encyclopedic knowledge of every brand and changes her hair and makeup look up as often as her clothes.
