One of these products is DERMA E Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Paste. This product is a light exfoliant that helps to get rid of dead skin cells and uneven skin tone, revealing a more beautiful, radiant complexion. The paste is a multi-tasking, skin-brightening, antioxidant-rich facial cleanser and mask which gently cleanses and exfoliates impurities to reveal soft, smooth skin, It contains ingredients such as Golden Turmeric (reduces the appearance of blemishes, calms skin and enhances the skin's natural glow) and Ancient Rice (gently removes dirt, brightens skin and exfoliates dead skin cells while nourishing the skin). Glycerin is also included, which is a humectant that helps to keep skin nourished no matter what skin type you have. Bentonite is a clay that purifies the skin and gets rid of dead skin cells, congestion and oil. Panthenol (also known as ProVitamin B3) provides soothing moisture to the skin. Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) is an antioxidant that soothes the skin and provides moisture. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C) is an antioxidant that helps even out the skin tone, as mentioned above. Echinacea root extract helps to boost skin's moisturizing properties by increasing epidermal lipids, ceramides and cholesterol. These keep the protective outer layer of the skin strong, meaning less moisture is able to escape over time.
This product can be used two ways, as a cleanser or a mask. To use as a cleanser, gently lather over a dampened face and neck, then rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry. Use in the morning and evening. It is gentle enough for daily use. As a mask, you will see more intense results. Apply generously to face, hands and other areas. Leave on for 3-5 minutes until dry and rinse off by moistening and massaging to activate exfoliants. Pat dry.
To me this cleanser/mask does a great job of helping to cleanse the skin, even out skin tone and decongest the skin. I find that this is not an everyday cleanser. I prefer it for an alternative cleanser on days when I need some extraneous exfoliation and evening out of my skin tone. I like this cleanser and would not have tired it had it not been for Pride Month. So, there is that. It works great and makes skin feel soft and smooth, look brighter after several uses.
