One of mally beauty’s most popular products is her Slimline Lip Gloss. The color that I am going to review here, Starburst, is featured in QVC’s Mally Holiday 10-pc Slimline Lip Gloss Library ($44.00, www.qvc.com). This gloss is one of her customer’s favorite because it lasts for hours, gives lips a super-shiny and glossy finish. The lip gloss comes in an easy to twist up base, which gives you the right amount of product. All of the colors are opaque (not translucent, always solid in color). As you can see from the swatch above, the color is definitely opaque in color, which on the lips translates to having solid color. Mally Roncal designed these colors to complement each other.
In these two photographs I am wearing Starburst. It is a lovely color, a light pink with radiant shimmer. I applied this without lipliner. The gloss has a stickiness, although it’s not too sticky that it feels uncomfortable. You can see that it really makes my lips look fairly large (even the top lip). This is another mally beauty product that I like. It is only available in the holiday set, which is still on the website for now. So hurry!
I have liked all of the mally beauty products that I have reviewed that past few days. These are well made products that are pigmented and last. I can see why they have a following. Mally Roncal has been a celebrity makeup artist, mom and entrepreneur for over 15 years. She demands that her products perform to the standards she sets: all day flawless beauty.
