Pevonia is a line based on all natural ingredients. I was lucky enough to meet the founders of Pevonia years ago. I adore this line like no other because of its integrity and mission. Pevonia is primarily a spa and esthetics line but that does not make it any less extraordinary. It is a line that works extremely well. All the products I have ever tried from the line are fabulous.
Youth Renew Tinted Cream SPF 30 is a cross between a BB Cream, CC Cream and a tinted moisturizer. It is a 5-in-1 daily defense cream that is lightweight and ultra-hydrating. The formula is age-defying and is infused with unique flash action microspheres that deliver saccharides, lemon and cucumber extracts for immediate skin brightening benefits and optimum skin luminosity. It contains a SPF 30 that protects the skin against UVA/UVB rays. The sunscreen is in the form of titanium dioxide 7% and octinoxate 4%. Titanium dioxide is a mineral sunscreen that works by having UV rays reflect off of the skin. Octinoxate is a chemical sunscreen that absorbs the sun’s rays into the skin. If you are allergic or sensitive to chemical sunscreens then this product will not be right for you. The formula for Youth Renew Tinted Cream SPF 30 is rich in collagen, Vitamin C and green olive extracts to repair lines and wrinkles. This product is great for anyone who needs a tinted high performance anti-aging moisturizer that also has a SPF 30, that provides smooth coverage for a flawless skin look and helps to keep skin looking younger. This product is suitable for all skin types, even those with oily and acneic skins can use this.
The best way to use this product is to apply 1-3 pumps to skin in the morning, onto face and neck. Make sure to apply at least 15 minutes prior to sun exposure so that the sunscreen has a chance to metabolize with the skin and to provide protection. This can be worn alone or under foundation.
I really like how this makes my skin look. It adds just enough tint to make skin look brighter and does not make skin look like any other tone or shade. It does add luminosity to skin, I tried to photograph it but in the photo my skin did not really look any different in photos. Skin looks nice and feels soft, firm and ready for foundation. It could be worn alone too, but I think it works better under foundation, as a primer for it. It goes on like a moisturizer and just leaves the lightest hint of a tint. It works similar to a BB Cream but does not have the darker tint like a BB Cream does. This product it lighter than a BB Cream. And it is not like a CC Cream, which corrects color. It is like a tinted moisturizer with better benefits. No matter what it is like, Youth Renew Tinted Cream SPF 30 is a great product and I recommend trying this out under your foundation as a primer. As for anti-aging properties, it has Vitamin C and green olive extracts, anti-oxidants that work to fight off free radicals and collagen that helps to plump up the skin to make it feel and look younger looking.
