Pixi makes skincare products for all different kinds of types of skin and for many different ages of skin. For this review I am going to concentrate on their Zero Zit product, which is a spot reducing acne product. This is a lightweight and quick absorbing cream, the solution helps minimize redness, swelling and future breakouts.
Pixi Zero Zit contains Wintergreen Leaf Extract, which has a natural salicylic acid extract to attack blemishes and gets rid of them by killing bacteria and sloughing off dead skin cells. Natural Sea Salt helps to reduce the occurrence of blemishes. Sulfur absorbs oil, thus reducing blemishes and helping to heal existing ones. To use, apply to the affected area as often as needed to reduce blemishes and to help keep existing ones from returning.
I like this spot treatment and my daughter does too. We both used it. I don't get many blemishes since I started to use Retin-A, but I do get an occasional one and this helped to heal it and get rid of the infection. My daughter gets acne lesions from kissing her boyfriend's oily face and has found that this helps to alleviate the lesions on her chin by applying it every night after she kisses him. It is gentle and does not sting or cause excessive dryness. I would recommend this for all skin types except mature skin.
This would be great for normal, oily and acneic skin especially. Dry skins can use this but be wary of over drying skin out. Use occasionally if you have dry skin. Only apply to the affected area, do not use all over the face.
