One day I read an article about a cream that got rave reviews. I mean wonderful, unbelievable reviews. It was for goop Replenishing Night Cream, yes the brand started by Gwyneth Paltrow. The one that gets all the flack for being flaky. But it was a reputable magazine and I thought what the heck. So I ordered it. The cream costs $140.00 for 1.7 fl.oz. and that is nothing to sneeze at I thought. I usually don't spend that much on moisturizer, well except for La Mer that one time almost 20 years ago. So I got it and started to use it.
goop Replenishing Night Cream is the 2017 winner of the Allure Best of Beauty Award. It is a luxurious active night cream that works to plump, brighten and firm the skin as one sleeps. The nourishing formula visibly improves skin's texture, helps to soften the appearance of fine lines and increases luminosity for a noticeable, healthy glow. Sandalwood nut oil soothes the skin, while linseed oil extract and hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin. This cream is formulated with USDA certified organic ingredients and contains approximately 89% total organic content.
goop skincare is developed by founder Gwyneth Paltrow but Juice Beauty has been contracted out to make all of the goop products. They happen to have a wonderful reputation when is comes to making organic skincare, so I trust that they can make high performance, clinically proven skincare that merges luxury formulas with certified organic ingredients. Glow inducing, age defying Meristem plant cells are sustainably sourced from poet's daffodil and sweet iris, then blended with a revolutionary antioxidant juice complex designed to brighten one's skin tone and target fine lines and wrinkles, leaving skin smooth, even and luminous. goop by Juice Beauty products were formulated without any of a long list of ingredients linked to harmful health effects, including, but not limited to parabens, petroleum, pesticides, propylene or butylene glycols, phthalates, sulfates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, GMO, silicones, gluten, artificial dyes and fragrances. The formulas were not tested on animals.
When I first used the Replenishing Night Cream, I found that it was a very creamy and luxurious formula. It melts into the skin, sinking right into it. I also like that the product smells amazing. You don't need that much to actually cover your entire face, so the product will last a very long time. It is very unctuous and is best for mature and dry skins. I would also recommend it for normal skin too. Most, if not all of the ingredients in this product are natural. I like that. I use this product regularly and find that it doesn't clog my pores, or cause any breakouts. It works great with my Retin-A use, because that dries out the skin and this works well to help hydrate and soothe the skin. I feel the price is worth it because it is going to last so long.
Until Next Time~
