A New Intimate Care Brand For Women
Queen V is a new intimate care brand for women that is on the marketplace, and it is different than the other lines already out there. First of all, feminine wellness can be confusing and embarrassing, women already have a lot of choices to deal with and some of them are not the right ones. Queen V knows because they’ve been there. They have created an easy-to-follow three-step process to maintaining, healing and enjoying your vagina. They are a female-powered team focused on normalizing the conversations surrounding women’s health.
First of all, the pH level of your vagina is acidic, from 3.8-4.5. Most vaginal cleansers are a base, with a pH level around 9-10. That alone can set off a host of problems with your vagina, causing secretions to increase, bad bacteria to flourish and irritation to occur. Luckily the Queen V products all have a pH level of 4.5-5, making them suitable for vaginal care. Also, vagina is not a dirty word. Use the word in its context and you will not feel embarrassed. I taught my kids to say vagina and penis in normal conversation and they say it without hesitation.
I purchased the Queen V Essentials Kit to try out and review because I feel that it is every woman's desire to feel fresh and clean in her vaginal region. Yes, normally we may not but that doesn't mean we aren't. Our vaginas work as self-cleaning mechanisms, with the secretions it makes clearing out bad bacteria and debris from the vagina daily. But for some reason it always has an odor that is not pleasant to our noses, even though that odor is natural and expected, say OB/GYNs. The problems occur when discharge from the vagina becomes either white and chunky with an odor and/or greenish and foul smelling.
Use of the Queen V Essentials Kit can make you feel better about yourself, it cleanses, balances and refreshes the vaginal region.. There are three products in the kit for use in the vaginal area and one product to take orally. Let's look at each product separately and discuss it.
Queen V DD Probiotic
Queen V Daily Dose Probiotic may promote a healthy Queen V by balancing out yeast and bacteria while also supporting your digestive track, immune system and antioxidant health. It contains Turmeric, Grapefruit Seed, Bifidobacterium Bifidum, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, Folic Acid, Allium Sativum (Garlic) Bulb Extract and Black Pepper Extract, to name a few of the important ingredients. This probiotic supplement helps to bring good bacteria into the body, allowing it to get into the vaginal canal, digestive track, the skin's microbiome and into the immune system. This way the bad bacteria do not take over and cause things like yeast infections or bacteria vaginosis. This box comes with 30 capsules, enough for a month's supply.
I am a HUGE fan of probiotics. I firmly believe that everyone should take probiotics and prebiotics daily. Probiotics can be found in yogurt, kefir and some kinds of sour cream. Probiotics contain the good bacteria our bodies need to stay in harmony. When we take antibiotics, these good bacteria get killed off and that is why we get yeast infections. The candida bacteria that are in our vaginas are allowed to grow nonstop without any bacteria to stop them from growing, thus we end up with either a yeast infection and/or thrush. Probiotics are good for the skin's own microbiome, which is microscopic and needs them to survive. They are good for our intestines, to help keep our intestines flowing nicely. It helps the immune system by putting good bacteria in the small intestines to help digest food. Bacteria and acids are what digest food in our digestive track. Good bacteria are essential for the digestion of food and without those good bacteria, chaos ensues. And finally, they are good for our vaginal area to help keep our vaginal canals from getting yeast infections and/or bacterial vaginosis.
These 'flushable wipes' are infused with Queen V friendly Vitamin E and Coconut Oil for anytime you need to freshen up the vaginal area or anywhere you need to freshen up. Always wipe front to back for a soothing and refreshing cleanse anytime and anywhere. Pull out one wipe and firmly reseal lid. Unfold wipe and gently cleanse. For best flushability, use only one wipe per flush. These wipes also contain Aloe Leaf Extract to soothe the vaginal area. There are 25 wipes per packet and it stays dry with the lid on top. The best thing about these wipes is that the pH level of them are in line with the pH level of the vagina, which is much better than the other wipes available.
First, I would not flush these wipes. It has been shown that flushable wipes are not flushable at all. They end up clogging pipes. Second, I like that these wipes are very gentle yet cleanse better than other wipes I have used. I think it is the natural essential oils and natural ingredients used in the wipes. They don't cause any irritation to me, but some might find them irritating because of all of the natural ingredients. If that happens, stop using, contact Queen V right away and contact your physician. That is for any of these products.
Queen V The Spritzer Deodorizing Spray
A lot of women prefer to use refreshing sprays in the vaginal region. That can be all well and good, but often those sprays have a high pH level, knocking out the good bacteria and starting out the likelihood of a yeast infection. This refreshing spray is hydration and refreshing with rosewater and has been designed to control odor as well as rejuvenate your Queen V. Spritz externally on your Queen V throughout the day as needed. Remove cap. Hold bottle 8-12 inches away and press down on the top for a quick spray. For external use only, not for use inside the vagina. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with water. Store in a cool, dry place. This product contains rosewater, hydrogen peroxide and phosphoric acid in case you are allergic to any of these ingredients.
I love this spray and how fresh I feel after using it. Definitely better than other vaginal refreshing sprays and how they make you feel. I like this one because it leaves a light rose scent without it being artificial and it doesn't mask odor. It actually kills odor.
Queen V: V Bar, pH Balanced Cleansing Bar
Finally, we have the cleansing bar, which is similar to those cleansing washes put out by other companies. It is infused with Rosewater, Aloe and Cucumber Juice extract. The bar is pH-balanced and is specially formulated without harsh ingredients for the Queen V. The cleansing bar comes in a Wild Berry scent. For external use only. Apply the V Bar onto wet skin. Gently lather and massage into skin and then rinse clean. Can be used every time you bathe.
You will love how this smells and how nicely this cleanses the vagina without leaving it feeling squeaky clean and harshly deodorized. This product feels more natural in the vaginal region than other vaginal cleansing products because of its pH balance and its ability to cleanse the area so gently.
All in all, I am VERY happy with the Queen V products. I like how gentle they are on my intimate areas and how well they perform. I would definitely purchase these again. They have other products that they make but I just wanted to review what I purchased. I might purchase some of the other products, I am so happy with these. The best deal by far though is their Queen V Essentials Kit, which contains all of these products, which are the superstars by far.
