Since Huda Kattan started coming out with skincare, I have been a big fan of her WISHFUL line. Made with great ingredients and well intentioned skincare with a clear purpose, and definite benefits, the products she has been developing are clear winners. That is no exception with the following.
HUDA BEAUTY WISHFUL Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer is a wonderfully rich, luxuriously light jelly-meets-balm moisturizer infused with honey to lock-in moisture for up to 24 hours that soothes the skin. Packed with: moisturizing honey, turmeric root extract to help minimize the appearance of hyperpigmentation and unevenness, while niacinamide brightens and visibly reduces the appearance of pores. The soothing lavender scent creates a relaxing and calming moment to enhance your self-care routine. Honey is a humectant and is known to lock in moisture and soothe skin. Turmeric root extract is also known to soothe the skin, reduces hyperpigmentation and evens out skin tone. Niacinamide, known as Vitamin B3, visibly reduces the appearance of pores and uneven skin tone. Lavender oil is known to calm, soothe and relax. The result is instant hydration. Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer reduces water loss from the upper most layers of the epidermis of the skin so that is stays moisturized for up to 24 hours. The infusion of lavender-tinted pearls provides an instant glow and soft-focus effect, leaving the skin dewy, glassy and gorgeous. This product is non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic and suitable for all skin types.
To use: apply a small amount to clean skin, add more as needed. Gently rub in until fully absorbed. Use daily, morning and evening. Use twice daily for best results. Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer should be used after your serum step and can be used before or after face oil. Always follow with a SPF30 for daytime use. This product makes an amazing foundation primer as it helps to boost your glow and give you a dewy radiance. This product has quickly become my favorite moisturizer, as it works well for my dry skin. I would recommend it mainly for dry, combination and mature skin types but it can be used for any skin type. I have not experienced any breakouts with Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer, however I am on a Retin-A product with a a Clindamycin 1% topical in it for acne currently. I have noticed it gives skin a beautiful ethereal glow to the skin when used. Especially under foundation. After using it for a month or so I can say the my skin definitely feels more moisturized, softer, smoother, looks brighter and less dull. Because it is non-acnegenic, it is recommended for acneic skins but I wouldn't use it if you have a lot of congestion on your skin such as pustules and blackheads. It would help to stop the dehydrating effects of such products as salicylic acid, adapalene and benzoyl peroxide though. I would not recommend this for very sensitive skins as the lavender oil might trigger a reaction. Overall, I think this is a great product and would recommend it to readers for skin that is in need of a great moisturizer and fall-to-winter pick-me up.
