Review: LAGOM Cellup Gel To Water Cleanser/Peach & Lily
7.44 fl.oz./220mL $20.00
Cleansing your skin should not be akin to a wartime activity. Treat skin gently, don't fight it. It often feels like when we cleanse our skin we are stripping it of the essential moisture it needs to stay healthy. Skin should be treated with care. You may find that often you do not need a heavy cleanser at all in the morning, especially if you have normal, dry or even the most sensitive of skins. And that is fine. Sometimes rinsing the cellular waste that is produced during the night with just plain water is good enough. However, a light gel cleanser is even better. And I have one that is perfect for literally every skin type.
LAGOM Cellup Gel To Water Cleanser, a K-Beauty cleanser available from Peach & Lily, is my new favorite product! This extremely gentle yet thorough cleanser is all the buzz in Korea. Why? Because of its ability to be the perfect morning cleanser that you didn't know you even needed. No, you don't need to double cleanse in the morning. Just a light splash of this is all you need. Even if you have oily and acneic skin! Your skin is still clean from the night before, you just have some cellular debris that has been excreted while your skin regenerates. Yes, this cleanser even removes oil-based creams. It transforms from a magic gel to a refreshing water-based cleanser as it is massaged in. Skin is left hydrated, soothed and properly cleansed. Ah! What a relief. It is especially nice in the summer. The scent is slightly herbal, with a bit of lavender and citrus and the texture is somewhat jelly like.
Use in the morning on clean, dry skin. Apply and massage gently to remove cellular debris. Then remove cleanser with warm water. Also, for use on your very light non-waterproof makeup days: if you only have very light makeup on, this can also be used as a 2-in-1 in a pinch. Apply to dry skin and massage gently to remove makeup and cleanse at once. Note: this cleanser will not remove heavy, stubborn or waterproof makeup easily. An oil cleanser should be used first.
Cleansing with Cellup Gel to Water Cleanser is almost like cleansing with water but yet it cleanses better and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and well hydrated. It contains glycerin, a humectant that helps to draw and bind moisture to the skin. Jojoba seed oil helps to moisturize and balance skin, fight off bacteria, repair the skin, and fight free radical damage. Lemon fruit oil acts as a detoxifying agent that nourishes, cleanses, and exfoliates skin while clearing up skin issues such as oiliness and acne. Panthenol is very soothing and moisturizing for the skin. Sodium hyaluronate (a form of Hyaluronic Acid) is a humectant that helps fo bind moisture to the skin. Tocopherol (Vitamin E) is an antioxidant that fights off free radicals and provides moisture to the skin. Apple fruit water has a smooth and light texture that helps to soothes and moisturizes the skin. It also tightens and adds firmness. This cleanser also contains ceramides, which naturally occur in the skin itself. Ceramides protect the natural moisture barrier of the skin, which helps to keep moisture in and bad things like bacteria out. Finally, it contains many botanical extracts that help to moisturize and soothe the skin.
I have never used a cleanser that left my skin feeling so soft and smooth before. So well hydrated. I am absolutely in love with this product. My skin is naturally normal to dry and in the morning I usually only like to splash my face with water unless I am going to wear makeup or put on sunscreen. But this product changes the way I cleanse my skin. It balances out my skin, leaving it feeling normal, not dry in the least. It feels amazing after using it. So glad I discovered this product. I honestly cannot see my routine without it now,
